The alumni association of Filipino participants of KOICA-sponsored academic and training programs in the Republic of Korea.
Vision
By 2030, PHILKOFA is a highly-regarded KOICA Alumni Association that inspires and engages its members and the global community towards resilience, equity, peace, and progressive partnership for sustainable transformation.
Mission
To promote equitable and sustainable development and to help poor people improve their quality of life through community engagement and international cooperation.
Objectives
- Conduct community services that apply the knowledge gained from KOICA programs.
- Establish mechanisms that sustain the association and its projects.
- Maintain linkages among members through newsletters, the website and social media.
- Collaborate with partner organisations for education and resource development.
- Respond to risks and adversities faced by communities and members.
- Strengthen regional coordination mechanisms for local initiatives.

What we do
Knowledge sharing
Sessions where fellows pass on what they learned in Korea -- ICT solutions, smart farming, climate resilience and more.
Community outreach
Health and dental missions, school WASH support, tree planting and equipment turnovers with local partners.
Meetings
General assemblies and chapter meetings that keep the association and its projects running.
Family day
Fellowship gatherings that bring members, their families and community partners together.
